Accessibility and Usability Statement

Introduction
This is the Accessibility and Usability Statement for the website www.jacksonbarreto.com. It describes the current state of accessibility of the public site, the methods used to evaluate it, and the work in progress to improve it. This statement is being prepared and will be updated as the work progresses.
Current conformance status
The public pages of this site target WCAG 2.1 level AA conformance. At this stage, the site has been evaluated with automated tools and a manual keyboard/focus audit. Some success criteria are already met; others are being addressed. Full conformance is not claimed until the remaining criteria are verified and the official validation process is complete.
Methods used
- Automated evaluation with axe-core (WCAG 2.0 A/AA and WCAG 2.1 A/AA rules) run against the real pages served by the site.
- Manual keyboard and visible-focus audit of the public pages.
- Colour-contrast validation of text, interactive components and state indicators on both light and dark surfaces.
- Preparation of the official "10 functional aspects" and "Content" checklists for the Portuguese Selo de Usabilidade e Acessibilidade candidacy.
Selo de Usabilidade e Acessibilidade
This site is being prepared for candidacy to the Portuguese Selo de Usabilidade e Acessibilidade. No seal has been awarded yet, and no seal image is displayed on this site. The seal can only be displayed after it is officially attributed. The candidacy level will be defined when the declaration is submitted.
Evidence and reports
The accessibility evidence (audit results, keyboard and contrast checklists, seal-readiness assessment and the user-testing plan) is maintained in the project documentation under docs/accessibility/. A public report will be linked here when available.
